TONIX
TONIX are unique to the burgeoning creative music landscape developing in Adelaide, South Australia. Long time friends Henry and Archie’s project began as a mutual respect of the saxophone and is growing into an electronic music force. The TONIX live show is highly visual, sonically diverse and their aesthetic is fresh and fashion forward.
Since only 2021 TONIX has forged a catalogue of singles and an accomplished EP released in 2023 whilst still in the final year of high school. Winning acclaim from critics for the EP and praise for their electric live shows. A four piece of vocals, synthesiser, saxophone and the recent addition of live drums the TONIX live show is evolving into something much more immersive than the sum of its parts.
TONIX were selected for the Indie-Con adjacent showcase produced by MusicSA, Scouted, in August 2023 and impressed all. On the back of that show they were offered a recording contract and were signed by management, General Admission Entertainment. MusicSA CEO, Christine Schloithe, called the showcase performance “near perfect” one that “captured the attention of the national industry in a way that rarely happens.”
TONIX have won fans with each show and are on track to make an impression on a national level after a series of high profile supports for artists such as Boo Seeka, TOWNS and Tijuana Cartel, festival bookings alongside artists as diverse as Rudimental, DMAs, Winston Surfshirt, Bad//Dreems, Regurgitator, Cub Sport and The Smith Street Band and their debut headline show in December 2023 to over 200 ticket buyers at UniBar ADL.
TONIX have played headline timeslots for locally produced festivals including Space Jams, IndieFest (alongside Felivand) and the Pirate Life Brewery birthday weekend.
