TONIX are a rapidly emerging electronic/indie/pop artist out of Adelaide, South Australia. Long time friends Henry and Archie’s project began as a mutual respect of the saxophone, grew into a love of synthesiser and is growing into an electronic music force with the addition of the powerhouse vocalist Sammi. The TONIX live show is synthesiser, saxophone, keytar and drums; sonically diverse and striking aesthetically.

Since 2021 TONIX has forged a catalogue of singles and an accomplished EP released whilst still in the final year of high school in 2023.

The band secured management as a result of a stunning Scouted showcase performance in 2023 described by MusicSA CEO Christine Schloithe as “near perfect”, a set that “captured the attention of the national industry”.

In 2024 the band has played numerous large festival shows, toured outside of Adelaide for the first time and been in the studio twice and has self-funded the recording and release of two singles – I Was Asleep (July) and Snake (to be released in November to coincide with the largest TONIX shows to date). The latter single has been recorded and produced by globally recognised artist and producer David Turley of Lovers Electric. David offered to work with the band after being introduced to them at the General Admission Entertainment showcase during IndieCon in July.

TONIX were selected as the only local artist programmed by curator Motez on the AdeLOUD bill alongside Genesis Owusu, JamesJamesJames, Yard Act and Elsy Wameyo. In November, TONIX received an invite to open the stage at the Adelaide 500 for Cold Chisel, The Cruel Sea and The Superjesus.
