Introducing: BLOCK PARTY at Cloisters & UniBar ADL, a new mini-festival headlined by The Pharcyde (USA).

Presented by General Admission Entertainment & Inner Tribe Records, the Cloisters and UniBar ADL are throwing a Block Party this December.

Featuring hip-hop royalty The Pharcyde and a line-up of South Australia's finest established and emerging hip-hop artists. Plus, activations including a 3x3 basketball court, pop-up records stores by Inner Tribe and Jewels of Thought and Wing's World (party time, excellent) will make this a memorable indoor and outdoor party.

Born in South Central Los Angeles, The Pharcyde stood out from the rap acts that hit in the late-‘80s and early-‘90s. Their debut, Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde, catapulted them into the alternative rap scene, opening for acts like Tribe Called Quest and participating in tours like Lollapalooza. They will be touring in Australia with original members Imani, Slimkid3, Fatlip & DJ Cee Brown.

Joining them will be Dem Mob, the ground breaking Aboriginal hip-hop group from APY Lands in South Australia, notable as the first regional act to rap in the Pitjantjatjara language, plus rising stars Bloomy Meadows & Inkswel and soul queen Erin Buku. In collaboration with Adelaide University's Centre for Aboriginal Studies in Music (CASM) emerging rapper Bousta and Kahn will also perform live.

On the decks DJ Delta will be spinning West Coast jams all day long.
