General Admission Entertainment already owns, books and operates the 500 capacity UniBar ADL at the University of Adelaide and we have now been engaged to book for the 200 capacity Velvet Underground in the heart of the Adelaide CBD.

The new venue has been operating since late 2023 and has already hosted sell-out local and touring gigs. With it's boujee bunker vibe and 70s-glam-rock-cum-dive-club aesthetic it is a great new option in the South Australian live venue market.

Especially appealing to us, and to touring artists, is the ability to option-in accommodation for tour parties of up to six on site in the hotel above at no additional cost. We understand that touring is expensive, and we understand Adelaide is notoriously terrible at buying tickets (especially early), so in eliminating the accommodation cost from your budget we hope to attract artists that may not have considered Adelaide in the emerging stages of their career.

We are currently taking bookings for every Friday and all other nights by arrangement.
